"Bible Battle" (Played like "War")
  1. The deck is divided evenly. Each player places his stack of cards face down, in front of him.

  2. Each player turns up a card at the same time and the player with the higher card takes both cards and puts them, face down, on the bottom of his stack.

  3. If the cards are the same rank, it is War.

  4. Each player turns up one card face down and one card face up. The player with the higher cards takes both piles (six cards).

  5. The game ends when one player has won all the cards.

NOTE: Category Cards are the highest rank and beat all others.

"Fishers of Men" (Played like "Go Fish")
  1. Deal each player 5 cards.

  2. Starting with the youngest player, the players take turns asking another specific player for a given category of card (i.e. “Do you have any from the Gospels?”)

  3.

If that person has one or more cards in that category, give the card(s) over.

  4. If that person does not, he will say, “Go Fishing” causing him to draw a card from the pile.

  5. When a player has 3 or more of a specific category, the player will lay down the set. The player to lay down all cards in hand wins.

NOTE: Cards in Acts of the Apostles and Book of Revelation are considered “wild” and can be played as any category.

"Solitaire"

Set Up The Game

Twenty-eight cards are dealt from the deck into seven tableau piles with the number of cards per pile increasing from one to seven from left to right. The top card of each tableau is face up, the rest are face down. For example, the first pile on the left will consist of a single card face up. The second pile will be two cards one face down and then another face up. The third pile should have two cards face down and one face up. This pattern continues for all seven tableau piles. You will need to leave room at the top of the playing surface to create ten (one for each category of the Bible) foundations. These foundation piles will be created when a Category Card becomes available and will be built upon it in ascending order with cards of the same category from 1 to the highest number. The remaining cards are placed in the upper left hand corner and become your draw pile.

Playing the Game

Top cards of the tableau piles and the draw pile are available for play. Look at the tableaus to see if you have a Category Card showing. If so use it to start a foundation. Move cards from one tableau to another by arranging them in descending order. For example, move a 5 onto a 6. When you remove the last face up card from a tableau pile flip over the top face down card making it the new face up card. Sort through the draw stack when there are no longer cards to play on the tableaus. Move cards to the foundations as soon as possible. The game is won when all cards are moved into the 4 foundations.

NOTE: If a pile becomes empty, you can move the highest card from a category (the highest card has a star in the upper right hand corner of the card) to start a new pile.

"Star 21" (Played like "Blackjack")
by Silas & Sadie

The object of the game

The object of the game is to get as close to 21 without going over.

The Value of Cards

  • Catagory Cards (with a book in the top right corner) are worth 10.

  • Star Cards (with a star in the top right corner) can be worth 1 or the value inside the star. the player chooses which value to use.

  • All other cards are worth the value in the top right corner.

How to Play

  1. Deal each player 2 cards (Start with the youngest player).

  2. The youngest player looks at the two cards and adds the value.

  3. If more cards are needed, he will say "hit me" and the dealer will give an extra card. Continue this way until satisfied with hand.

  4. If the value of the cards are over 21, he should say "Star Burst!" to let everyone know that he is over 21 and out of the game.

  5. Each player follows the same steps.

  6. Once all players have have played, the cards are revealed. The person with a value closest to 21 without going over wins.

NOTE: If there is a tie with the dealer and the player with the highest value (21 or under), the dealer always wins.
